Our members have one thing in common, they write. Some are professional; some are trying their hand at articles and stories. Some are poets, some are writing memoirs, and some are laboring over first novels. Some are bloggers. When trying to come up with a generic topic that could appeal to us all, of course, writing prompts are what first came to mind. Who doesn’t need a prompt to prime the pump every once in a while?

I found this fun article from the New York Times:

500 Prompts for Narrative and Personal Writing By Michel Gonchar, November 13, 2014

It includes a pdf of all 500 prompts.

In case you’re stuck today, try these prompts or, jump online and search out writing prompts for yourself. You’ll find an endless supply. One or more is bound to capture your interest. Good luck!
